god forsaken golmud

it was a very painful day. chain smoking maniac drivers. 16 hours straight on a mini van from lhasa to god forsaken golmud. no lunch break. no dinner break. toilet breaks at the petrol kiosks ended up in a peeing session which started when it was raining and ended when a blizzard started. snow???? wtf.. unpredictable weather in tibet. tsk tsk. defense position (again) while sleeping in a shack that claims to be a hotel. where sheets hasn't been changed in the last decade. and now . stuck for two days coz we need a permit to travel on the road to dunhuang? it's not even a permit to go to dunhuang.. just a permit to use the road???? *scratch scratch. golmud. the best city in china. i love golmud! *pui
