turpan turban

and we go round and round and round the small town of turpan. eating shishkebabs, roasted chicken ( bird flu doesn't spread this way, mei... ) visiting bazaars, strolling under grapevine trellises and watching donkey carts go by...xinjiang is a good place to visit. friendly + goodlooking people of turkish descent doesn't hurt a bit.. hehehe. we even had a little game of mj here with two austrians that we met at the railway station.. hahahhaha. onward to kashgar.. a 27 hour train ride away...
