Grass-Grow Bound

Hi friends,

I know that this is another turn of events but mostly likely it will not turn again. I am grass-grow bound in a day's time. My flight was just confirmed. Dont scream. My Jb friends are not informed as yet. First in the news, Chows *congratulations**shakes hand* he had home ground advantages :) going a little mad having to pack in just a day. Soooo drop by... and have some glasgownian hugs ! Gotta crash now.. more admin work to be done tomorrow :)

tralalalalalala.~! i'm online! after running up and down to the cluster room! but cannot use web cam leh. sian. howse life everyone! i just cooked myself dinner for the next 3 days. all in the fridge now. hahahah. lazy boh.

i dropped my phone into the.... ----- TOILET BOWL!!
and i'm very sad.. it totally died.. and it maked silly cackling noises when i try to turn it on... i stuck in in the aircon to dry it, only to find it dripping wet with condensation the next mornin... i tried to pry the stupid phone open this to dry it with a hair drier but i fucked up the stupid screw or sth, so now its jammed. after a whole mornin to feeding hot air into the phone, i can switch it on, but only to a black white screen.... :'( :,( i am very sad............ every thing is gone...
and i couldnt even call Boh and the rest to join them last night!!!!!!! pooo..
and till now i still cant get anyone...

goodbye charmaine... haf a safe flight! we haf to post the polariods up again! hee.. fun..[ming, charmaine and i took more polies at the heineken Green Room!!! .. hee..]

Architect and Builder

 

A man is flying in a hot air balloon and realizes he is lost.
 
He reduces height and spots a man down below.
 
He lowers the balloon further and shouts: "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised my friend I would meet him half an hour ago, but I don't know where I am"
 
The man below says: "Yes you're in a large red hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field between 40 & 41 deg latitude and 120 and 124 deg West longitude"
 
"You must be an Architect" says the balloonist.
 
"I am" replies the man. "How did you know?"
 
"Well" says the balloonist, "everything you have told me is technically correct, but it's of absolutely no use to me and I still don't know where I am."
 
The man below says, "You must be a contractor."
 
"Well yes" replies the balloonist, "but how did you know?"
 
"Well", says the man, "You don't know where you are, or where you're going and you've made a promise that you can't keep but now you expect me to solve your problem; and you're in the same position as you were before we met, but now it's my fault."

4 brave ladies
23 young lads
started off with a whole bunch of crazy lads sprinting
mei was stunned and that 1 second she took to start her stopwatch made her 27th
mei crawled up relentlessly
she was ard 18th
it was a huge round around the military camp
no marks, no signs
ooo FINALLY a 2 km mark...mei peered at her stopwatch...
hehehehe below 10mins !!!!
she is on time !
hmm mind over body..mind over body .............
BUT aiyah.. 2km for less than 10 mins
3.5km shld be less than 20min what...
YA HOR... so pia for what.. not see who first mah
and it was perpetual inertia...it was so difficult to run again
mei peered 17mins ++ 3km mark not in sight
mei ran the helluva outta her life
18mins++++ close to 19th 3 km mark...
maybe she shld just walk now
and she strolled
she was 27/27 :)
some pple came and said "well done"
hypocrites or what ?
but AT LEAST i can say
i've tried
i've been to a malaysian military camp
i made new friends
i realise that even if u wear long modest slacks for a sunny day run.. u can still be second
i shouldnt have secretly laughed at long slacks
i did warm up conducted by a commando in malay that i didnt understand
i spoke entirely in malay the whole time
i laughed when i didnt understand (to pretend that i did)
i realised that there are a bunch of pple more enthusiastic and deserving
i realised that there are also a bunch who didnt wanna regret not going
i enjoyed my car ride
i have a xxl tee-shirt for the run
i got a cool cap that i gave to the taxi uncle
i had a banana at the refreshments desk
i refused to eat nasi bryani after a mad run
i also took the most expensive taxi ride of my life RM170
i am also happy

well..no more astronaut plans :)
